The group (made up of father. Bart and sons Dennis and Daniel, ages 10 and 13, and veteran professional singer Carl Sanders) sing traditional southern gospel music. Of the group's development Bart states, "What began as an effort to combine family harmony and voice talents with our strong desire to serve God became our purpose statement: delivering the gospel message through relationship, example, and song."
Since formally embarking as Southern Gospel artists in 2007, the boys have opened for several nationally known Southern Gospel groups and singers including Dixie Echoes, Jessie Dixon, The Kingsmen, Legacy Five, Palmetto State Quartet, Allison Durham Speer , Booth Brothers, Ivan Parker, and Southern Sound Quartet.
Gwen Southerd, wife of Bart and mother of Dennis and Daniel, serves as sound technician and events coordinator. The Jefferson County family states, "We give God the glory for blessing us and giving us safe travel to over 52 bookings last year."
