  • There was something for everyone at Iola Old Settlers' Reunion last Saturday.

  • There was something for all ages at the Iola Old Settlers Reunion last Saturday. And several of the contests declared winners and gave prizes:
    Burp Contest: Evan Smith won (two) two liter bottles of soda donated by Hucks

    Whistling Contest: Maria Jones, won an 8inch ice cream cake donated by the Flora DQ

    Hog Calling: Nora Beth Mines, won a $25 gift certificate from Mike's Market in Louisville.

    Frog Jumping: First Place Axel Bushue, Second Place: Zaiden Persinger, and Third Place Gabby Blair. They all won trophies.

    Greased Pig: 0-7 year age group Riki Beccue, trophy and $10 from Clay County Circuit Clerk Crystal Ballard; 8-13 year age group Tyler Elmore, trophy and $10 from Clay County Circuit Clerk Crystal Ballard; and 14-Adult Mikayla Kline, trophy.

    Antique Lawn Mower--John Pierson
. The antique tractor,vehicle, lawnmower guys won trophies.
    
Horseshoe contest: First Place Crystal Reed and Jake McCarty, trophy and one half of the entry fees; Second Place Roger McCarty and Ronnie McCarty, their entry fee was returned to them.
