Eliza Herdes is the new Junior Miss Xenia Fish Fry
Although the heat Saturday afternoon was almost unbearable, Eliza Herdes braved the heat and captured the crown of Junior Miss Xenia Fish Fry. Eliza is the 11-year-old daughter of Kerry and Amy Herdes. She was also the winner of the decorated cake contest.
First Runner-Up was Olivia Haun, the eight-year-old daughter of Kevin and Kimberly Haun. Second Runner-Up was Angel Keller, the 13-year-old daughter of Gene and Renee Keller.
Miss Congeniality was Alicia Sisk, the eight year old daughter of Matthew and Christina Sisk. Amber Burkett was named Miss Photogenic. She is the 13-year-old daughter of Jerry and Angie Burkett.
Other participants were Caitlin Klein, the eight-year-old daughter of Andy and Diedre Klein; Mahala Smith, the nine-year-old daughter of Greg and Susie Smith; Emma Smith, the eight-year-old daughter of Greg and Susie Smith; Emily Williams, the eight-year-old daughter of Greg and susie Smith; and Sierra Branom, the 11-year-old daughter of Dave and Brenda Henterscher.
Retiring queen Baylee Wilkins bid a farewell to the crowd.
Stacey Earleywine served as Emcee. Angela Edwards and Emily Burkett served as pageant directors.
The contestant sash was provided by Chris' Custom Sewing. Awards and Trophies were provided by the Xenia Volunteer Fire Department.
