Suppose that we could say that March came in like a lamb weather wise but gosh I sure do not like having this rain, we need several days of good old sunshine to dry up more of this mud. The temperature has been nice last few days, hope it continues, but the official first day of spring is just little over two weeks away.
Seems we can always talk about the weather for lack of anything else to say but thats the human part of us.
Xenia community adults had 40 to sign in for the monthly noon lunch last Wednesday. Patty Pillmans name was drawn for the door prize which was a T-shirt with St Patrick's Say theme. March Birthday's, Butch Akes 10th, Patty Pillman 11th, Nancy King 14th and John Klanke 30th, Happy Birthday was sang to the celebrants wishing each one Good Health and Good Times.
There wasn't any anniversary's to report. Several games of Bingo were played, the Blackout gift was digital clock. Next meeting will be April 7th.James Freeman Memorial fund raiser will be March 27 at Xenia Grade School starting at 4 p.m. until finished. Activities offered include a full meal, raffle, bingo and silent auction and other activities.
