Laureate Gamma Mu PL-2418 Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at the Tasty Treats in Flora on Thursday, September 10.
Meeting was called to order. Roll call consisted of 9 members present and 4 members excused. Minutes from the previous minutes were read and approved. A brief discussion on meetings for the 2009-10 year.
The 30th Annual Edlerwalk will be held Saturday, October 3. Registrations begins at 7:30 a.m. At Library Park. The walk will begin at 8 a.m. In front of the First United Methodist Church at 103 E. 3rd St. There will be a one mile and a two mile walk.
Participants will meet at the First Baptist Church for door prized and awards after the walk. The walkers must be 55 years of age to be eligible.
A thank you was read from Janice and Jeff Harr for remebering them in the loss of Jeff’s father. A donation was given to Hunter Osborne who has Leukemia.
Members present: JoAnn Rose, Jan Jennings, Alice Childers, Jennifer Perry, Margie Dettmer, Evonda Botka, Lynne Gocey, Janice Harr, and Donna Myers.
The next meeting will be Saturday, October 3rd at the First Baptist Church at 203 E. 3rd in Flora.
