April is Autism Awareness Month and members of the Business Club at Flora High School along with the entire FHS student body have taken on a project to raise money to help an Autistic child.

Trenton Conrad, the six-year-old child of former Flora resident Angela Tackitt Conrad and grandson of James and Aleta Tackitt, suffers from severe Autism.

He is in the need of a service dog that cost approximately $12,000. The Business Club, sponsored by Alicia Westjohn, has set a goal to raise $5,100

Donations may be mailed to Flora High School, 600 S. Locust St. or can be dropped off at the school.

The $5,100 goal represents $1 being donated by every resident of Flora.
