Sheriff James C. Sulsberger released the following:
March 8, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Kevin P. Wood, 33, Louisville, at 2nd Street in Louisville, on an outstanding Effingham County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of D.U.I. Bond set at $5,000.00. Wood was transferred to Effingham County Jail.
March 8, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Brandon Lee Hewkin, 20, Louisville, as a result of a traffic stop at North State Road and Palm Lane, on an outstanding Effingham County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Transportation of Alcoholic Liquor by Passenger. Bond set at $9,500.00. Hewkin posted $950.00 cash and was released.
THE CHARGE IS MERELY AN ACCUSATION AND THE DEFENDANT IS PRESUMED INNOCENT UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY.
