Virginia M. Shields, 85, of Flora, passed away at 1:10 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Clay County Hospital in Flora.
She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran Faith.
She was born February 24, 1924 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisc. to George and Helen (Branning) Sperber, they preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Betty Davis, and husband Bill, of Flora; Carol Verhyn, and husband John, of Madison, Wisc.; brother James H. Shields, Jr., and wife June, of Kenefie, Okla.; sister Dorothy Schmiling, of Sturgeon Bay, Wisc.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Others who preceded her in death were granddaughter Tamera Sullivan, one brother and four sisters.
There will be no local services, Frank and Bright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be at the Knollwood Memorial Park and Chapel Mausoleum in Manitowoc, Wisc.
