Flora Rent One will be “Calling All Angels” for their car show to benefit “Shop With A Cop,” on Friday, July 15, from 12 to 3 p.m. They are looking for contestants to enter the show and if you have a classic car or one that just plain looks good, they are looking for you.
“I need to get the word out to the public,” said Flora Rent One manager Nora Daugherty. “We’ve got a $10 registration fee and registration will be from 9 a.m. to noon.”
Daugherty says that one of the largest benefactors for Shop with a Cop from previous years is no longer able to help, so they would like to help to pick up some of the slack for this worthy cause.
“We’ve got a whole campaign to help Shop with a Cop,” said Daugherty. “We had a porkburger sale, we’ve got this car show, and we’re going to have a cutest dog competition as well. It’s all aimed at bringing in money for Shop with a Cop.”
Daugherty says that there will be dashboard plaques for those in the show, as well as trophies which will be awarded for the Best in Show, Most Original and Best Overall.
