A summer kids’ event called PandaMania will be held at the FLORA 1ST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 103 E. 3rd Street, from July 11th to July 15th. Kids explore a bamboo forest filled with crazy pandas, as they discover that God loves us. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into yummy treats, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s wild love, and create Bible Point crafts they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Rowdy Wrap-Up—a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are invited to join us at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 17th for a cookout that will be followed by our closing program at 6:00.
As their mission work, kids at PandaMania are being asked to bring personal care items such as: toothbrushes, toothpaste, bars of soap, body wash and hand sanitizer to help out our local Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry. For the past several years all that the kids have done an amazing job of bringing in much needed items for the Food Pantry, and we look forward to helping out this wonderful organization again this year.
PandaMania is for kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade and will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 each day. Come join us in our bamboo forest and be sure to bring your friends and neighbors! For more information or to pre-register, call 618-662-6567, 618-662-2963 or 618-662-2032.
