William R. Berger, 89, passed away at home Friday, February 26, 2010 due to heart and kidney disease.
William was born July 18, 1920 in Evansville, Ind. He moved to Winter Haven, Fla. from Greenwood, Ind. in 1995. William loved computers and traveling in his motor home. He was a WWII US Army-Air force Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his previous wife Evelyn M. Herman, his son ken Niles and great grandson Daylin Niles. He is survived by his wife Estella P. Berger, his son Wayne Herman, son Kelly Thomas Cotton, daughter Kathy Cotton McCoy, son Dan Niles, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The visitation was Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 12 to 1 p.m. followed by the funeral mass at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Winter Haven, Fla.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church, Winter Haven, Fla., American Heart Association or Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale, Fla.
