Steven L. Wicke, 44, of Flora, died at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
He was born February 7, 1966 in Mattoon to Lewis Richard and Eleanor (Croy) Wicke. He married Patricia Sudduth on Nov. 4, 2000 in Louisville.
Steven was a self-employed contractor and he enjoyed fishing and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Wicke of Flora; children: Cheyenne Davis of Louisville, Stanley Persinger Jr. and wife Ashley of Flora, Tiffany Seigler of Flora, and Mary Jo Evans and husband Zach of Alabama; brothers and sisters: Linda Wines and husband Steve of Manchester, Tenn., Lewis Wicke Jr. and wife Karen of Flora, Connie Wicke of Flora, Kathy Gibson and husband Boscoe of Flora, Debbie Siddens of Flora, and Sheila Wicke of Flora; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
