Joe O. Enlow, 61, of Flora, IL died at 6:40 AM Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
Joe was born November 20, 1948 in Richland County, IL to Everett & Kathleen (VanFossen) Enlow. He married Eileen Mary Blank on October 19, 1972 in Toledo, IL. He was a Medical Technologist for Clay County Hospital and Richland Memorial Hospital, and his memberships included Xenia United Methodist Church, Flora Elks, Flora Moose, and Clay County Country Club.
Joe is survived by his wife, Eileen Enlow of Flora; his parents, Everett and Kathleen Enlow of Mt. Erie; his daughter, Shelly Billington and husband Scott of Flora; son, Kevin Enlow of Effingham; sister, Diana Smith and husband Wendell of Mt. Erie; five grandchildren, Jodi Ann Cox and husband Adam of Olney, Tara Nicole Hemrich of Flora, Zachary Neil Allison of Flora, Alexus Marie Enlow of Flora, Telsa Anne Enlow of Flora; two great-grandchildren, Ian James Carter Cox of Olney and Jordan Johnson of Flora; and two nieces and several cousins.
Preceding Joe Enlow in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday (March 10, 2010) at Xenia United Methodist Church, Xenia, Ill. with Pastor Robert McNeely officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Mt. Erie. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, and after 9 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the church.
