Harry F. Rosborough, 73, of Clay City, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 at his residence.
He was retired from Peabody Golion as a welder and also was a truck driver. He was of the United Methodist faith and made a profession of faith as a young man at the Patterson United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. Harry enjoyed ball games and riding his scooter.
He was born Feb. 1, 1936 in Olney to Harry and Florence (Brownfield) Rosborough. They preceded him in death. He would marry Mary K. Harbin on May 11, 1956 in Clay City, she survives.
Other survivors include sons Duane Neal Rosborough, of Dallas, Texas, and Brett Wade Rosborough, of Mitchell, Ill. Daughter Lorri Kae Schroeder, of Yorktown, Texas, grandsons Aaron Rosborough, Patrick Rosborough, both of Dallas, Texas, and Jeremy Rosborough, of Mansfield, Ohio, and great-granddaughters Cassidy and Allison Rosborough, of Mansfield, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his half-sister, Harriet Harbison.
Services for Harry were Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Clay City United Methodist Church, in Clay City at 10 .m. with the Rev. Mark Canada officiating. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church with the Masonic Rite at 8 p.m., conducted by the Flora Masons.
The Summers-Kistler Funeral Home of Clay City was in charge of arrangements.
