ANNA ELWANDA (WANDA) GABY, 89 of Cisne, IL passed away at 7:17 PM; Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital; Fairfield, IL
Wanda was born January 9, 1921 at Clay City, IL to Alonzo and Florence (Roush) Behymer. She married Thomas N. Gaby January 12, 1938 at Dixon, KY. He preceded her in death April 19, 1979.
She was a homemaker and a beauty operator in her home for many years. Wanda was a member of Zif Christian Church.
Wanda is survived by one son Thomas W. Gaby (& his wife Wilma) of Freeburg, IL; one step-son Lloyd Truman Gaby (& his wife Ruby) of Emory, TX; two grandchildren Anthony W. Gaby (& his wife Pam) of Freeburg, IL and Chris A. Gaby (& his wife Cathy) of Millstadt, IL; three step grandchildren – Stephen, Mark and Douglas Gaby of TX; and two great grandchildren Connor and Kelsey. Also surviving are four nieces and two nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband Thomas, one step grandson Daniel Gaby, three brothers Victor, Nola, and Elmo, two sisters Ruth and Dean, and her parents.
Funeral services for Wanda Gaby will be 10:00AM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Cisne Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8PM on Tuesday, March 9, 2010
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
