Hope everyone has been enjoying the weather. Ive seen several people out in their yards picking up sticks and enjoying the weather.

Remember Saturday 14th we turn our clocks up one hour for Daylight Savings time.

Everyone is invited to the Flora Oddfellows Fish Fry on Saturday 13th  from 10am-2pm.  The menu will be baked beans, cole slaw and fish. There will be eat ins and carry out is also welcome.

Proceeds will go to help the lodge and help with one of the many programs we help with.   Members are all encouraged to attend.

Vicky Mc Cracken is a patient in Clay County Hospital for test. She would appreciate calls and cards from family and friends.

Sympathy goes to everyone that lost a family member or friends.

I got this in mail for the paper.  There was no phone number.

Always thinking of my friend Charles(Bud) Scammahorn. Most of his old pals has passed away.

Really dont have any brand new stuff. Bud,Kieth and Sharon Shaw informs me on things that are going on. Plus good ole Rena, Know Danny Joe Patridge and his wife (who is a Porter and related to my mom Lois Daughtery-McGee-Hale). The Daughtery and Porters had a lot of relations.

Known Mark Weiler (played ball with him when I was at Louisville). Seen Bill Stasser and his wife at Flora at Antiques Mall.

Known Randy Pearce, Wendell Simmons,some of the Craigs, Tollivers and Hundleys when they lived over at Clay City back in the 1980's plus Hances,Darrell Lewis who worked at the Post Office(former Bible Grove boy) Lorraine Norton and several others.

Used to eat at The Diner worked for Gibsons Propane Gas office west of the old M & M Pump Supply's and at that time the Veneble trailer court. Been to Clay Citys fall festivals, ball games,old Laundromat (which he helped when he lived in Clay City). Smiths Store they were so nice and courteous, IGA, Freshman year at Louisville H.S. (went to the grand opening of the new bank in 1974-1975.

I wasnt sure what to do with this but he wanted it in the paper . Ill leave it up to you  Thanks
