Having said the above I want to let the voters of Clay County know about how honest and trustworthy one candidate for State’s Attorney is. The candidate who is running on the Independent ticket is an attorney with a current law practice and yet she allows the violation of a city ordinance and does absolutely nothing about it. The political campaign signs were not supposed to be displayed in any yard in the City of Flora before September 21st; however, several were put in people’s yards on September 18th. I know as on was put near my home on that evening –yes in the evening after dark so the persons putting them up would not be so obvious. Now I know you are probably saying well what’s the big deal– after all it’s just a city ordinance. If a practicing attorney allows the violation of a supposed small insignificant law and does or says nothing about it is that attorney to be trusted to carry out small medium and even large law violations? Do you honestly want the chief attorney for the county to be one who allows even minor or “small” laws to be violated? Can such an attorney be trusted to help all persons or victims regardless of how minor or trivial their case may seem? Please consider this when you vote on election day November 4th. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this.

Sincerely,
Wynette Duet
