Former South Central standout pitcher and newly drafted Houston Astro, Tanner Bushue, made it official last Sunday when he signed his minor league contract to pitch for the National League Central Houston Astros.
Bushue will fly down to Houston today for a physical and to meet with team officials.
Pending his physical, he will fly home and pack his bags before heading to Kissimmee, Florida to meet his new teammates.
Bushue was the second round pick of the Astros.
