Clay City, Ill. -
Clay City Wolves Head basketball coach Adam Ellis has announced the dates for the 2009 Clay City Wolves basketball camp.
The camp will be held inside the Clay City Junior High School gym from June 1 through June 5.
Boys and Girls entering grades three through five will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. daily and boys and girls entering grades six through eight will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon each day.
If less than 20 campers total, one session will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. daily. Cost of the camp is $35.
The camp is a great opportunity for young players to improve their overall basketball skills. Fundamentals will be the basis of our camp, but campers will also learn what it takes to be successful on the court and will strengthen team attitude and confidence. A variety of drills, competitions, and contests will be included in the camp.
Campers will receive group and individual instruction, a camp t-shirt and water bottle, along with special instruction from current Lincoln Land College player Brandon Duvall.
Anyone interested in attending the camp may pick up a registration form at Clay City Junior High School or at the Advocate Press.
Registration forms need turned in by May 22.
